Original, evidence-led content
AutoProof publishes original explanations focused on vehicle-document workflow. We prefer current official government, law-enforcement and regulator sources for descriptions of public services. Commercial sources may be used to understand market practices, but their claims are not treated as official facts.
Scope and language
Every database and document has a scope. We aim to state the jurisdiction, purpose and limits of a source. We avoid phrases such as “guaranteed clean” or “certified theft-free” when the underlying evidence cannot support them.
Review dates
Guides display a reviewed date. Government services, fees, eligibility and procedures can change, so readers should open the linked official source before acting. A review date does not promise that every external page remains unchanged.
Corrections
If you identify an error, send the page link, disputed statement and supporting source through our contact page. Material corrections will be reviewed and the page’s review date updated where appropriate.
Commercial independence
Advertising or future referral relationships will not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored placements and affiliate relationships will be labelled. Payment will not convert a provider into an authoritative source.
AI assistance
Technology may assist with drafting, organization and consistency checks. Publication responsibility remains with AutoProof. We do not intentionally mass-publish unreviewed or scraped material.
